I studied a double degree in Software Engineering and Accounting at UTS - and honestly, I struggled. It wasn't until I landed an internship at a startup in third year that I realised how much more there was to learn beyond the classroom. I was lucky to have a mentor who taught me what it really takes to succeed in the industry.

Those skills changed everything. By the time I graduated, I had offers from CBA, IAG, Optus, Macquarie, Quantium, and EY. I joined Macquarie as a grad in 2025 and I'm still there now.
